Sump vertical centrifugal pumps are available in lengths from 12 in. to 20 ft (.3 m to 6.1 m), and handle flows to 900 gpm (204 m3/hr), heads to 180 ft. (55 m) and temperatures to 275°F (135°C).
All fluid contact components are injection molded or fabricated of homogeneous polypropylene (PP), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) and polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) — corrosion resistant thermoplastics that are chemically inert to the fluids they are specified to handle. The heavy-duty stainless steel shaft is completely isolated from the fluid by a thick-sectioned thermoplastic sleeve, eliminating metal contact with the pumped fluid.
Sump vertical pumps are ideal for handling a broad range of corrosive, hazardous, toxic and otherwise aggressive fluids used throughout the processing and manufacturing industries, in utilities, and industrial and municipal water/wastewater treatment facilities — virtually any acidic, caustic, hazardous or unknown mixtures of waste/effluent or combination of fluids across the entire pH spectrum collected in tanks and sump pits.
